Bike Runs
Summer is a great time of year to hop on your bike, motorized or pedal power, cruise around the Bay and stop off for a cold one at the Governors Bay Hotel. Yes, there used to be a few more alternatives for stopovers but now you just have to stop here for longer.
The infamous "Syd's Run" is traditionally the first Saturday of November but sacraligiously, the powers that be have decided this years run is going to be on the flat. How boring is that! Apparently, there is a "alternative Syd's run" been organised for those of you who prefer a couple of hills to challenge your machines.
Other bike runs that we know of are:-
October 30th 50s DO 50 TAKE 2 - a hill run starting at Princess Margaret Hospital at 9.30am and ending up at the Valley Inn
December 10th or 11th - a pedal only run
Jan 2012 - VCC run date TBC
Feb 2012 - Honda run date TBC
